Hi Friends!

Lately, I’ve been feeling down. I’ll write it in another post in depth why I’ve been feeling down but here is my outfit post today. I cleansed my crystals while I went out with Mark. He made a promise to take me out to shoot for my blog during the weekends. So far, he’s keeping his end of the bargain.

After the park we got hungry and we needed to buy a tablecloth so we headed to the nearby mall. It’s a 30min drive from where I live. Back in Hawaii, people say that’s a far drive for it to be the nearest mall. I dont mind it. Now that I’ve been living in the mainland for 3 years, a far drive to me is 3 hours.

We went to TJ Maxx to find a tablecloth, ended up with a blue and white paisley print. Then I wanted to find Rae Dunn because I’m so desperate, I didn’t hunt for a long time. We just kept searching high and low and I was about to leave until I found 6 Melamine Plates that said Relax on it! I only grabbed 4 because I need it for my table setting. I was super happy!

I love Rae Dunn for the words that are on the pottery. Relax, it really spoke to me. The past couple of days has been the harshest in blogging for me. It not only affected my blog but my YouTube channel partnership. Hopefully everything clears up.

Positive vibes,

✨I created a YouTube channel✨

Hi friends!

Happy 1st of May! I hope you are all doing great so far in your week. As an homage to spring, I created a YouTube channel. I know it’s cliché but I feel like people would rather watch a 5 min video vs reading a 2-3 paragraph post.

I have no clue what this YouTube channel is going to be categorized as, just that I want to show you more about me and my interests. They say you have to focus on a niche and run with it. Then expand when you do have an audience.

My first video is my dog Ziggy, I wanted to educate people more about chocolate schnauzers because when they see her they tell me it’s not possible to have one. AKC does not acknowledge them as a breed because back then they described a schnauzer the typical salt and pepper coat. I say screw it, all dogs matter and she shouldn’t be labeled a “mutt”. She’s my chocolate schnauzer and I stand by it 110%.

I have her family tree paperwork, her dad is a chocolate schnauzer and her mom is a parti white and black schnauzer. You can see her coat has specks of white and it creates an illusion of an ashy brown coat. That’s what I love the most about her. She’s named Ziggy after Ziggy Marley.

After my cousin passed away we kept thinking about the song on a Beach in Hawaii. This also played during his funeral, it’s originally a love song, but like many songs-there’s different layers to it. Coincidentally, she shares the same birth month (September) as my late cousin and uncle. I knew that it was a sign for me! Ziggy needed to be part of my family. No regrets, she’s one of my lights in my life.

She’s been there for me through my sadness. She’s kept me company when Mark got deployed to Japan. She’s my protector at nights when I’m feeling scared. She follows me around the house to make sure I’m okay. I wish she could talk to me and tell me what’s on her mind. She’s a great Kleenex when I’m sad. Through it all, I’m happy she’s in my life. Even though she favors Mark over me...

The weather here is gloomy, it’s been like this for the past 3 days. I’m the type of person that needs to do something to let her creativity out. So on days I can’t shoot outfit posts, I will do a video! I’m so excited for what the future holds. Thanks so much for following my journey!

I love you and you are special,
Moxia 🌙

Lavender's Blue

Printed Blue Long Sleeved Dress (Altar'd State). 'Poet' Hat (Bailey of Hollywood). Pony Boots (To be Announced Shoes).

Hello Earthlings!~

Today I tried out a new sushi place called Mizu, it's alright, nothing compares to Hawaii sushi. And I miss Hawaii sushi so badly!!! Mizu is chill, missed out on the happy hour menu but we were so hungry that we didn't want to wait another hour.

Anyways, after eating Mark took my pics outside the sushi joint and we saw a pond area that was perfect to shoot. Whenever we see a duck, it just fascinates us because we don't see ducks walking around in Hawaii, only at the zoo. They just roam freely here. While Mark was taking my photos the ducks would walk closer and closer to us. We kept laughing because there was that one sad lonely duck and we wanted to keep it because it looked so disheveled..."That duck's been through a lot, it knows the struggle"... Mark is hilarious...

The dress I'm wearing is from Altar'd State and I love this store because their motto is: stand out for good. Some of the clothes have tags printed, "a portion of the proceeds from every Altar'd State brand purchases will be donated to feed, clothe, and educate children", like YAS! Such an inspiring store.

Okay so the reason why I titled this post Lavender's Blue is because Mark said the dress reminded him of Cinderella. And ever since we watched the movie we'd sing the lullaby to each other, I also catch him singing it in the shower. It's such a funny and cute song, when clearly lavender is not blue, it's lavender. It's our little inside joke.

Romantical

Floral Dress (BCBG Generation). Floppy Hat (Chapel Hats).

Hello Earthlings!~

Romantical = Romance + Magical

I know it's been a while! I bought a new camera just a week ago and I am so happy! So for sure I will blog more! Yesterday I was so bummed out, I had the blues. I was not inspired to do anything, I was constantly crying and today Mark pushed me to start again with this blog. I always feel like a failure at life and people have it way better than me. I know I can be SO fucking dramatic. There's other people out there who have it worse than me, and I'm here complaining about how I'm in an artistic funk.

So what better way to solve my artistic block? Shopping!!! And btw I bought my camera and clothes with my own money, Mark DOES NOT pay for everything...

Why that random photo of my hair? I slightly changed it to a hint of burgundy.

I saw this gorgeous store, at first I thought it was Free People but then I walked closer it's called, Altar'd State!!! I usually don't like to walk in stores I don't know much about, then Mark said, "let's check it out!!!" and I fell so in love with the interior! The clothes that they have are a cross between Brandy Melville and Free People very boho, feminine, and whimsical. I'm glad Mark pressured me to walk in! I had so much fun and they have a sale going on it's buy 2 sale items get the 3rd free. Of course I couldn't pass up this opportunity, be on the look out for the stuff I bought. I will return to this store if I need another inspiring shopping day. You should check it out if you are at St Johns Towns Center.

Until next time!~

Industrial Revolution

Halter Body Suit (American Apparel). Circle Skirt (American Apparel). Fedora (Chapel Hats). DWBH boots (UNIF).

This post is inspired by the dirt, metal, and grit of a warehouse. It's just scraps of metal and wood all over the place I like to take pictures with that because I feel like I have connection to all things crazy and messy. Like my style I feel like I'm all over the place and it depends on my mood. I was so sick of wearing black at work that I bought a dress with orange specks on it. I NEVER would wear orange but I just needed some color in my life.
